The Assmann patch cable series gets what the company describes as a "complete facelift," one complete with new connector/cable colours and revamped locking lever protection.
Three different plug colours helps customers identify the category of the cable in use-- either blue (CAT 5e), red (CAT6) or yellow (CAT6A).
Cables are available in either standard or different colours, allowing one to assign specific colours to specific purposes for an improved first glance overview of networking cabinets.
Assmann also revamps the familiar locking lever-- latch locking protection is in rubber to avoid problems of the latches breaking off or hooking up with other cables variety. Meanwhile the patch cable has a round shape for improved stability and security.
Each cable ships with detailed Digitus data sheets for a colour and length overview, and Assmann provides an additional 15-year product warranty.
