Denon, Marantz Get Crestron Connected

  • PDF

Denon and Marantz join the Crestron Connected family, with select AV receivers from the two brands getting native integration with Crestron automation products following a Crestron-D+M partnership agreement.

Denon MarantzCrestron Connected is an out-of-the-box receiver integration solution. It uses standard ethernet cable and eliminates the need for separate software modules. Installers can easily customise AVR interfaces for source switching, volume control and internal control via AVR system setup menu.

“By embedding Crestron intelligence in Denon and Marantz receivers, it allows for seamless communication with Crestron home automation solutions, giving installers a simplified home theater solution and homeowners complete control of their home entertainment system.” Crestron says.

A number of AVRs get Creston Connected support via free online firmware update, namely the Denon AVR-X3000, AVR-X4000 and AVR-4520CI, and the Marantz models SR6008, SR7008, AV7701 and AV8801.
