Aurora claims to to offer a global 4K tuning solution for any integrated system requiring IPTV, ATSC, QAM, DVB, NTSC and PAL-- the V-Tune Pro 4K.
The tuner decodes MPEG2, MPEG4, VC-1, H.264 and H.265 at up to 4096x2160 resolutions at 60Hz via either RF or LAN.
It also carries an on-board 4K scaler for the viewing of 1080p content on 4K displays. Audio comes through unbalanced stereo RCA, S/PDIF and optical.
Control comes through IR, RS232 and LAN, and installers can program any channel for OTA/broadcast or content streaming via LAN, making the switching between content as easy as changing channels.
Channel setup-configuration is also "clone-able" for ease of setup.
The V-Tune Pro 4K is available from January 2015 in a 1RU package.
