CEDIA launches "Designer School," a 5-day program for installers wanting to develop the skills and knowledge required to master what the association describes as “the critically important process of system design.”

CEDIA trainingThe course runs for 4 full days, and consists of a series of intense sessions covering the core subjects-- Customer Relations, Design Documents and Process, Project Management Principles and Sub System Design and Integration. Once that is over, students have to sit for an exam on day 5.

One can also book each subject separately as a one-day course depending on their needs.

“The great thing about CEDIA’s Designer School is that it will benefit any installer that walks through the door,” CEDIA EMEA says. “Whether students are established system designers looking to formalise their existing knowledge, project managers seeking additional structure and perspective, or those who are EST2 certified or hold 3 years industry experience and are keen to take the first steps into structured integrated systems design, CEDIA’s Designer School will prove valuable for each profession.”

The course takes place on 20-24 April 2015 at CEDIA HQ in St Neots, Cambridgeshire.
