CYP Intros 4K HDBaseT Matrices

  • PDF

CYP launches a pair of 4K HDBaseT matrices-- the PU-8H8HBTE-4K22 and PU-8H8HBTPL-4K22, both featuring 4K resolution support and HDCP2.2 compliance with 8 HDMI inputs and 8 HDBaseT outputs.

CYP 4K MatrixThe PU-8H8HBTE-4K22 is an 8x8 HDMI HDBaseT matrix with 5-Play convergence, LAN serving and PoC (Power over Cable), negating the need of a PSU for each receiver unit. Control comes through manual selection buttons, 2-way IR, RS-232, Telnet or web GUI, and support for RS-232 pass-through to the receivers is included.

It handles the transmission of video and multi-channel digital audio (with support for 3D content and high resolution audio such as LPCM 7.1CH, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus and DTS-HD Master Audio) from 8 HDMI sources to 8 HDBaseT outputs via single CAT5e/6/7 over 100m.

CYP says the matrix is designed for use with any HDBaseT receivers taking advantage of the PoC and LAN capabilities. The LAN servicing capabilities provide network connections to ever zone, enabling connectivity for smart TVs or any devices requiring internet or network access.

Meanwhile the PU-8H8HBTPL-4K22 is a "lite" 8x8 matrix compatible with the same 3D video and high resolution, multi-channel digital audio formats as the PU-8H8HBTE-4K22. The HDBaseT outputs enable distribution of video, audio, control and PoC over 60m via single CAT5e/6/7 cable, and control comes through manual selection buttons, 2-way IR, RS-232, Telnet or web GUI.
