Described by Canton as a "powerful home entertainment hub," the DM90.3 appears ideal for customers wanting a one-box solution complete with Dolby Digital and DTS decoding, amplification, 3D and 4K pass-through, and Bluetooth aptX streaming.
It is designed to support flatscreen TVs weighing up to 40kg.
The soundbase portion of the DM90.3 carries 10 custom-made speakers-- 2 tweeters, 4 mid-range drivers and 4 subwoofers, with the option of adding an external subwoofer for extra bass.
Connectivity comes through 3 HDMI inputs, 1 HDMI output with Audio Return Channel, 2 digital inputs (1 coax, 1 optical) and 1 analogue RCA input. Users can optimise audio as per different uses-- a "voice" mode boosts dialogue, and a "hotel" mode allows one to set maximum volume settings.
The DM90.3 is available now, and will be on show at IFA 2015.
