Universal Remote Control (URC) takes advantage of ISE 2018 to show off the latest version of Total Control-- Total Control 2.0, an upgrade bringing more flexibility, as well as an improved UI and advanced logic.

URC ISE 2018First launched back at CEDIA 2017, Total Control 2.0 promises faster speeds for both installers and customers thanks to improved loading and response times. Installers can adjust and edit the system more quickly and simply, with Accelerator 2.0 software allowing the incorporation of "if," "and," "then" and "or" command, as well as in-built commands increasing the number of autonomous tasks completed by the systems.

Installers can show customers how Total Control 2.0 controls entertainment, music and lighting via free demo app, available now for iOS and Android devices.

Customers wanting an entry point in cloud-based smart home control get the MX HomePro-- a combination of smart hub, remote control and mobile app. It offers one-touch control of home entertainment and IoT devices, such as lighting, thermostats, security cameras and Z-Wave products. The H500 smart hub and remote control connect via wifi or ethernet, while a companion MX HomePro app offers touch-based control on smart devices both at home or on the go. Installers can manage the system remotely via web-based programming.

Both Total Control 2.0 and MX HomePro are compatible with the Z-Wave gateway, a self-explanatory offering expanding system control for Z-Wave based products.
