Chief Manufacturing will introduce the industry’s first WPA Short Throw Projector Mount at ISE 2008.
“At ISE, our new WPA Short Throw Projector Mount will be integrated with a Sanyo XL50 ultra-short throw projector. These projectors are becoming increasingly popular with integrators needing to work within a diverse number of positions and surfaces and we’re delighted to be able to supply the first mounting solution available in the industry…” says Melinda von Horvath, Director of Sales & Marketing, EMEA at Chief Manufacturing.
The WPA enables users to extend a projector at up to 12.5” (318 mm) from a wall surface (alternatively the projector can be positioned close to the wall using the home position). The mount includes integrated roll adjustments and easy extension. Set-up uses the Quick Projector connect-and-disconnect capability (eliminating tools). Security hardware is included with the WPA.
In meeting installers needs for flexible mounting solutions, Chief offers additional accessories for short throw projectors. The CMS390™ and CMS391™ On-Center Ceiling Plates allow installers to adjust the projector installation up to 24”, which is ideal for the installation of short throw projectors.
Chief’s WPA Short Throw Projector Mount is compatible with all major short throw projectors models on the market and custom interfaces for Sanyo, Hitachi and Toshiba are currently available and shipping. The WPA is also compatible with Chief’s range of RPA and RPM projector mounts.
