UK-based Habibtech signs a distribution deal with luxury home control system maker Vantage in a partnership allowing for closer integration between Vantage control and Nuvo whole home audio systems.

Vantage offers integrated automation solutions featuring a widget-based UI handling many aspects of the home, including lighting, home theatre, cameras and security. It also displays the current weather and allows for home climate changes.

The Vantage range currently features 3 displays-- the 4-inch Equinox 40 and 41, and the 7-inch Equinox 73-- as well as a selection of controllers, LED dimmers, line-voltage relay modules and DIN-rail lighting control relays/dimmer modules.

Audio/video solutions maker WyreStorm adds German distributor Vivateq as European sales partner handling Wyrestorm products actress Austria, Poland, Switzerland and Germany.

The announcement follows similar deals with Belgian distributor Alelek Group and French distributor Sidev Display Systems.

Vivateq offers a variety of custom install products for both residential and commercial markets, as well as training and technical support. It works with with system integrators, AV retail stores, electricians and building technology companies.

Loewe strengthens its relationship with AWE by choosing it as main channel distributor in the UK after realizing that many Loewe dealers are becoming involved in custom installation.

AWE was appointed Loewe distribution partner in 2012. Following the announcement Loewe will support Galeries and some strategic accounts directly, but AWE is the supply route for the majority of dealers and retailers.

The distributor also put sales director Paul Mott as director of the Loewe business for AWE.

Cabletime, developer of the MediaStar Evolution range of IPTV and digital media distribution solutions, names AlhenaCom to manage distribution of the MediaStar Evolution range of IPTV solutions in Italy.

Audio and video distribution and control solution maker WyreStorm signs two new distribution partners-- the Belgian Alelek Group and Lyon-based Sidev Display Systems.

Alelek represents WyreStorm in both Belgium and Luxembourg from March 2014. It is a KNX home and building technology distributor, and its product portfolio includes audio/video, security, heating/cooling and energy management.

The distributor has 5 branches in Belgium as well as a KNX Experience Centre in Antwerp.
