Optoma Adds Compact ZH403 DuraCore Projector

Optoma announces an addition to the DuraCore projector lineup-- the ZH403, a compact 1080p number designed to offer 30000 hours of maintenance-free operation in medium-size venues such as meeting rooms and trade shows.

The ZH403 is 4K and HDR compatible, and features 1.3x zoom and built-in sound system. Installers can set up in virtually any orientation, thanks to 360-degree installation and portrait projection. The laser light source and direct power on/direct power off mean the ZH403 requires no time to warm up, and needs no cool-down time. Max brightness totals 4000 ANSI lumens.

Optoma Adds Compact Trio to DuraCore Line

Optoma Duracore projectors

Optoma expands the DuraCore laser ProScene projector lineup with three high-specification compact models-- the ZU606TSTe, ZU606Te (WUXGA) and ZH606e (Full HD 1080p), all offering 6300 lumens brightness with 4K and HDR compatibility.

Designed for professional installation, the ZU606TSTe and ZU606Te also feature HDBaseT connectivity. Meanwhile the short throw lens of the ZU606TSTe allows for "stunning" image performance even from a short distance. The DuraCore range claims an industry-leading laser light source with an independent IP-rated dust certification. Lamp life totals 30000 hours in full brightness mode for the three projectors, and IP6X certification ensures total reliability.

Screen Innovations Adds to Motorised Screens

Screen Innovations (SI) announces an expansion of its range of low-voltage motorised screens. Originally developed for the CI channel back in 2017, the motor technology now belongs in the entire line of SI motorised screens.

Epson Presents LS500 4K Laser Projection TV

Epson launches the LS500 Laser Projection TV, a combination of ultra short throw projector and ambient light rejecting screen available in either 100- or 120-inch screen sizes for a complete entertainment solution.

Epson Laser TVThe LS500 is carries Epson 4K PRO-UHD 3LCD technology, and is capable of displaying 4K HDR images with full 10-bit colour processing accepting 100% of the RGB colour signal for every frame, allowing display of the Rec. 709 colour space. Advanced black density control individually pulses the laser light emitted by the Epson Dynamic Laser Array diodes to suppress stray light within the signal, producing a contrast ratio of 2500000:1.

Optoma Ships CinemaX P1 Short-Throw Laser Projector

Optoma announces the CinemaX P1 Smart 4K UHD Laser Cinema projector, a compact ultra short throw number able to project a 120-inch image from around 60cm distance featuring a built-in soundbar and an integrated smart TV platform.

Optoma Cinemax P1The lamp-free laser light engine and DLP XLR chip inside the CinemaX P1 can produce images with 3000 lumens brightness and up to 15000000 contrast with Dynamic Black enabled. A fixed glass lens offers a 0.25:1 throw ratio. The projector also covers REC.2020 and the DCI-P3 wide colour gamut, and is HDR10 compatible. On the audio side, the built-in NuForce 40W soundbar features two full range drivers, two woofers and isolated and ported chambers, and supports Dolby Digital 2.0.
