High-performance audio electronics maker Bryston launches its first set of loudspeaker products-- a complete line of loudspeakers designed for both music and home theatre applications.
The line offers 8 floorstanding, centre channel, on-wall, in-wall and subwoofer products, ideal for installations ranging from a 2-channel listening room to a multi-channel home theatre.
The first Bryston product is the Model T, a 52.5-inch tall 3-way loudspeaker available in 3 formats-- standard (with an internal passive crossover network), Signature (with an external passive network using custom-made air-core chokes and Bryston-proprietary film capacitors) and Active (with Bryston 24-bit digital electronic crossover enabling tri-amplification of the system).
All models carry three 8-inch woofers, two 5.25-inch midranges and x2 1-inch titanium dome tweeters.
The Middle T is a smaller floor-standing 3-way loudspeaker utilising x2 bass drivers, midrange and tweeter. The mini t is a smaller version of the Middle T, with a single bass driver in a 3-way configuration.
Centre channel options include the 3-way TC1 and TC1 mini speakers, while bass comes through the T Sub with three 8-inch woofers powered by an intenal 600W amplifier.
Finally the T IW and T OW are architectural models with 3-way sealed enclosure designs.
Bryston loudspeakers come in three vinyl-wrapped standard finishes (black ash, natural cherry and boston cherry), with hardwood veneers and high-gloss painted finishes available as an optional extra.
