Bryston launches a complement to the Model T speaker line-- the Model A series, promising a focus towards “minimizing distortion and compression during music and home theater playback applications.”
The speakers carry redesigned drivers, including a smaller 6.5-inch woofer (the Model T carries an 8-inch version) promising "startling" musicality from a more compact form factor together with a 3-inch midrange driver and a 1-inch tweeter in a 3-way configuration. .
The lineup initially launches with the Mini A bookshelf speaker and the floor-standing Model A1, Model A2 and Model A3 Tower.
"[I]t became clear that consumers need high performance loudspeaker options in a full range of sizes,” the compay says. “The Model A lineup addresses that need, delivering the sonic realism of our larger Model T speakers from smaller enclosures."
The Model A Series will be available from Q4 2013 in a variety of wood finishes and in durable vinyl.
