RTI starts shipping two next-generation audio distribution systems-- the AD-4x and AD-8x, featuring built-in ethernet for 2-way control and feedback over LAN, as well as a new web-based UI.
Both provide whole-house or facility-wide audio switching, amplification and distribution via the combination of matrix switching pre-amp and built-in 25W-per-channel Cool Power amplifier.
RTI control system integration allows 2-way audio source control and current status information (such as selected source, volume level and tone control settings available for each zone).
Installers can also stack up to 8 AD-4x and AD-8x units for a maximum of 64 output zones, and add more power and speaker outputs via the connection of amplifiers, including RTI's own CP-450 and CP-1650.
The web interface allows the grouping of multiple zones in a larger room or area as a single zone for zone selection and volume control.
Ideal for both rackmount and free-standing installation, the two systems provide clean and simple access to remote sources via single Cat-5 cable and RSP1 accessory wall plate.
