An Audio Ensemble from Devialet

French audio maker Devialet packages its recently launched Devialet 120 entry-level amplifier with Atohm (a fellow French audio maker) components in the Ensemble, a "compact, ultra-high definition hi-fi system."

Devialet EnsembleThe Atohm components included in the package are a pair of specially made GT1 speakers (each featuring a proprietary 28mm silk dome tweeter and a 150mm alloy mid/bass driver) and a set of 3.5mm speaker cables with connectors.

According to its makers the Devialet 120 features a "number of breakthrough technologies." These are ADH (Analogue Digital Hybrid) amplification and SAM (Speaker Active Matching), a means to match Devialet components with specific speakers via "sophisticated digital processing."

The amp pushes up to 120W per channel, and features a digital-to-analogue converter handling high-resolution audio at up to 24-bit/192Hz as well as a configurable phono stage.

Inputs include x4 digital coax, analogue, x2 optical and asynchronous USB. It also handles wireless streaming via Devialet AIR technology.

The Devialet Ensemble package is available now.
