Terra launches new CA series speakers-- flush mount all-climate speakers featuring a bezel-free design with visually less obtrusive edge-to-edge powder coated aluminium micro-perforated grilles.
“Many similar models use steel grilles with magnets to hold them on,” The company says. “The new aluminum CA grilles are a tight friction fit with a built-in safely lanyard for security under the most adverse vibration conditions. And they’ll never rust or corrode.”
The speakers also feature reconfigured crossover networks to "significantly" improve sound quality, smooth frequency response and increase efficiency.
The CA series is also IP65 rated, making it ideal for applications involving exposure to the elements, such as sea-going ships, steam rooms, saunas, pool houses, showers and bathrooms.
The first speaker in the series is the 8-inch, two-way CA.8. It will be followed by 6.5- and 5.25-inch drivers and single-point-stereo models.
