Cambridge Audio announces the TV5 soundbase-- a larger sibling to the TV2 featuring 100W digital amplification and a pair of 2.25-inch BMR (Balanced Mode Radiator) drivers.
It also features extra bass capability, as it carries two down-firing 6.5-inch woofers, whereas the TV2 only has one. Otherwise specifications remain identical to the previous model, with advanced DSP technology and EQ settings including voice, TV, music and film.
Connections include Toslink optical, RCA and 3.5mm analogue inputs, as well as aptX Bluetooth for wireless streaming.
The TV5 should be available from Q1 2015.
