Cambridge-based audio maker Blue Aura claims the X40 speakers are the first Bluetooth tower speakers, featuring integrated 35W RMS amplification and 10m Bluetooth wireless range.
Inside the speakers are two 4.5-inch drive units and a 20mm tweeter, while further connectivity comes optical digital input, analog RCA and subwoofer output. Customers can also add wireless capability to wired-only devices with a WAS1 transmitter and receiver duo.
Allowing for easier pairing with mobile device is NFC capability.
The Blue Aura X40 speakers are available now as a pair.
