Denon launches the PMA-50, a stereo amplifier packing the company's proprietary audio technologies, including Advanced AL32 Processing and DAC Master Clock design, inside a compact form factor.
According to the company the PMA-50 pushes 50W into 4 ohms, and handles the playback of high resolution audio, namely PCM tracks at 24-bit/192kHz, 2.8MHz and 5.6MHz DSD tracks.
Connectivity includes multiple digital inputs (2 optical and 1 coax), analogue stereo input for legacy sources, a USB-B port for connection to PCs or Macs (with a dedicated noise isolation block reducing digital noise from USB connections) and aptX Bluetooth for wireless streaming.
Also built-in is a dedicated headphone amplifier circuit with adjustable impedance control with settings for low-, medium- and high-impedance headphones.
The Denon PMA-50 is available now in either black or silver finishes.
