Origin Acoustics, the company founded by Jeremy Burkhardt following his departing from SpeakerCraft, gets an official EMEA launch at ISE 2015 as it signs a distribution deal with Vivateq.
The German distributor says the Origin Acoustics portfolio has 50 products available on launch (out of the 100 the company has already created), all tailored to fit the specific needs of the custom install market. It includes ceiling speakers, wall speakers, outdoor speakers and amplifiers.
As such features include reinforced housing, patented tweeter mounting. larger subwoofers in smaller housing, vibration damping, large (45-degree) beam angles and tool-free installation.
“Origin Acoustics speakers are a perfect addition to our product range," Vivateq says. “Aside from the impressive sound quality there are useful features like tool-less mounting and low installation depth with the ThinFit series that will enable us to serve difficult installation environments where space is an issue.
