AudioControl starts shipping the Architect Model 2660-- a 16-channel amplifier with 65W output via 8 ohms or 100W via 4 ohms designed for bridging as a high-power 8-channel amp at 175W per channel.
It includes S/PDIF digital audio input with integrated Wolfson 32-192kHz, 16/24-bit depth DAC, as well as dual BUS A/B inputs installers can route to any output, discrete 12V and signal sense triggers for each independent zone and LightDrive anti-clipping protection circuitry.
Adding further custom install flexibility are AudioControl's PFM Subsonic Filter, energy efficient design (less than 0.5W in standby), loop-out ability to pass-through signals to other amps and independent volume level control by channel and zone.
A compact 2U chassis allows for easy installation while occupying less space than traditional amplifiers, with front and back LED design focused on installation and operational efficiency for dealers and installers.
