Origin Acoustics launches the Seasons outdoor loudspeakers-- a collection ideal for the upcoming sunny season promising a rethinking of the audio category with speakers offering greater output and deeper bass.
The line features 6 models in either single- or dual-channel versions. The 50 Series uses a 5¼ -inch woofer whereas the 60 Series utilizes a 4×8-inch woofer, both with aluminum dome tweeters. The OS56 model and the three 60 Series models also carry dual passive radiators for increased bass response and a more balanced sonic impression from a sealed enclosure.
Construction is in tough and durable ABS plastic shaped into acoustically tuned cabinets complimenting the drivers.
Mounting comes through an integrated Conceal Bracket System (CBS) bracket. As the company puts it, the bracket attaches to the speaker before the speaker end caps snap into place, allowing the installer to hand tighten the speaker knob screws.
Also available from Origin are 3 outdoor in-ground buried subwoofers allowing customers to "fill the area with the last octave of musical thunder."
