The Marshall Headphones and Amplification units team up to create the first portable speaker from the company-- the Kilburn, a Bluetooth number featuring a look similar to the company's famous guitar amps.
It carries a 4-inch woofer, two 0.75-inch tweeters and three amps (two 5W and one 15W), as well as a battery promising up to 20 hours of use between charges. Connectivity comes through Bluetooth 4.0 and 3.5mm jack.
“Setting the bar as one of the loudest speakers in its class, the Kilburn is a compact stout-hearted hero with a well-balanced audio which boasts a clear midrange and extended highs for a sound that is both articulate and pronounced," the company claims. "The analog knobs allow you to fine tune the controls to your personal preferences while the guitar-influenced leather strap enables easy and stylish travel.”
The Kilburn speaker is available from June 2015 in either black or cream.
