Beale Street Audio Ships LCR Pancake

Beale Street Audio launches the Left/Centre/Right Channel (LCR) loudspeaker at ISE 2016-- a super-slim, two-way in-wall "Pancake" speaker that's just 7.5cm deep.

LCR Designed for international installations with limited space between walls and ceilings, the LCR can be installed vertically or horizontally depending on the application as a left, centre, right around a flat panel or screen. One can also install it as part of a stereo pair or even as an in-wall rear channel.

Either installation promises the same sound with rich, deep bass produced by performance-enhancing Sonic Vortex technology inside a compact, integrated and tuned cabinet. According to the company the design optimises air movement to produce "phenomenal" sound.

The LCR integrates with other Beale Street Audio in-celing/in-wall speakers or subwoofers, and is available in 2 models-- one for the Beale Street Audio line (IPLCR4-BB) and the other for the Xpress (BXPLCR401). The IPLCR4-BB features a 1-inch titanium tweeter and dual 4-inch carbon fibre woofers, while the BXPLCR401 has a 1-inch aluminium tweter and dual 4-inch ribbed incjected polypropylene woofers.

Both models promise frequency response of 62Hz to 20kHz with 92dB sensitivity.
