Lode Audio Launches Single-Zone LA1 Server

Lode Audio adds to its music server range with the LA1-- a single-zone music server designed to be either part of a smaller installation or a standalone music player for a hifi system.

Lode LA1The LA1 is a small unit just 1U tall and 24cm, meaning two units can fit side-by-side in a rack. However it still features high-end DACs capable of high resolution audio playback, compatibility with a number of music streaming services and full integration with home automation platforms such as Crestron, AMX, Control4 and RTI. Control also comes through companion mobile device apps or Mac/Windows PCs.

Like other Lode Audio products the LA1 uses LodeNet-- a platform allowing installers to link multiple music servers to create up to 64 zones in a single installation, all without the interference, latency and outage issues hitting many wireless systems. Or so the company claims, at any rate.

The LA1 should hit the market by end October 2016.
