Amphion Reveals Floorstanding Argon7LS

Finnish audio manufacturer Amphion Loudspeakers announces the Argon7LS-- a floorstanding replacement for the Argon7L incorporating the same passive radiator design as the Argon3S and Argon3LS.

Amphion Argon 7LSThe passive radiator eliminates problems associated with reflex cabinets, namely the unwanted tail following the correct signal. Amphion says the Argon7LS design creates more natural energy transfer, providing listeners with an improved physical connection to the music, even on lower listening levels.

Meanwhile the crossover is at 1600Hz, outside the most sensitive human hearing range, allowing the use of the tweeter in the area where hearing is most perceptive. Thus the speakers perform as point-sources, and the waveguides create an even dispersion to immerse one in a room-wide sweet spot.

The Argon7LS will be shown off to the public for the first time at ISE 2017.
