The First Nuvo Tabletop Speaker

ISE 2017 hosts the launch of the Nuvo P400-- a first tabletop speaker for the Nuvo Player, the Legrand whole home audio system, promising access to audio from connected devices and streaming services.

Nuvo P400The P400 is a compact 2.1 system powered by a 5.25-inch woofer, two midrange drivers and two tweeters. It carries built-in wifi, an amplifier and speakeras, and connects to a variety of streaming services including Spotify, Pandora, iHeartRadio, TuneIn, Napster and Deezer. Control options include Nuvo Play in-wall keypads, the Nuvo Player iOS/Android app or top-mounted back-lit controls.

Connectivity comes through either wifi (802.11 a/b/g/n 2.4 or 5GHz) or ethernet, and it also features TOSLINK and analog line inputs for connection to an in-room audio source.

“The Nuvo P400 tabletop speaker is a crucial piece of our whole home audio system, enabling our solution to accommodate rooms where in-wall speakers or book shelf speakers are not an option,” Legrand says. “Its sleek, modern design fits any space and the fact that it offers the versatility to be used as a single zone or as an addition to as many as 16 zones within the Player Portfolio system makes it very appealing to installers and end-users alike.”

The Nuvo P400 ships from April 2017.
