Maratnz Extends AVR Lineup

The Marantz 2015 network A/V receiver lineup gets a pair of additions-- the SR6010 and SR7010, both featuring wifi and Bluetooth connectivity as well as the latest processing technology and ease-of-setup.

Marantz AVRThe SR6010 is the 7:2-channel option, featuring 110W of power together with a combination of  HDAM (Hyper Dynamic Amplifier Module) technology and Marantz Reference Series components promising low-noise wideband performance in an all-discrete configuration.

It supports a 5.1.2 Dolby Atmos configuration, but the 9-channel processor allows for 5.1.4 and 7.1.2 configurations through the addition of an external 2-channel amp. Marantz adds the AVR is DTS:X-ready, and the DTS NeuralX up-mixer able to create more immersive soundfields with any number of speakers.

Audio format support includes FLAC, HD, ALAC, WAV 192/24 and DSD, while video comes through HDMI 2.0 specification (includes 4K 50/60Hz pass-through and scaling) with HDCP 2.2, HDR and wide colour gamut compatibility. Connectivity includes 8 HDMI inputs, 2 HDMI inputs, USB and 13.2-channel preamplifier outputs.

Meanwhile the SR7010 is a 9.2-channel AVR able to push 125W per channel. It features 11.2-channel processing ability and customers can upgrade it to support Auro-3D and Auromatic upmixers.

The Marantz SR6010 and SR7010 are available from October 2015
