PureLink 4K Scaling at ISE 2015

PureLink reveals Motore UHD/4K scaling technology at ISE 2015, with live demos of Motore-powered PureMedia 4K matrix switchers and remote extenders showing off both upscaling and downscaling capabilities.

purelink MotoreAccording to the company Motore handles 4K upscaling, downscaling and frame rate conversion, with video reproduction at up to 4K (4196x2160) resolutions at 60fps.

The ISE demo featured distribution of a 1080p video source to a local 4K display (resulting in 4K @30Hz output), and the downscaling of 4K blu-ray content to a 1080 display. Such capability is available in PureMedia matrix switchers, eliminating the need for external scaling transmitters or receivers.

PureMedia matrix switcher card options and remote extenders support a wide range of resolutions, as well as HDMI, DVI, HDBaseT and Fiber connectivity.

"What makes PureMedia with built-in Motore technology unique is that it offers the most complete 4K scaling solution with a comprehensive selection of output card options, remote extender boxes and wall plates, as well as support for a variety of resolutions and output formats," the company says.
