RTI partners with Pulse Eight to develop 4K resolution HDBaseT matrix switches, extender sets and accessories, all utilising the latest C+DSC HDBaseT technology and are shipping now.
The video distribution solution line includes the flagship VHU-8x 8x10 matrix switch and VHT-Ux extender set. Both handle 4K + HDR with 4:4:4 chroma sampling (@30Hz) over a single CATx cable over lengths reaching 100m, with no latency. RTI also offers the VHD-4x and VHD-8x 4x4 and 8x10 HDBaseT matrix switches and the VHP-1x HDBaseT Class B extender set for the delivery of UHD 4K video up to 40m.
The RTI matrix switches include features promising to speed up installation. The VHU-8x, VHD-4x and VHD-8x utlise connected device auto-discover, and display the I/O setup on a web-based interface. They also have built-in diagnostics capabilities, including cable quality testing and remote monitoring.
Another solution in the video distribution lineup is the VDX-14x 1x4 HDBaseT splitter. designed for sports bars, lobbies and retails paces, the unit allows the simultaneous distribution of a single video source to 4 displays.
