Pulse-Eight Intros neo:8a Matrix

Pulse-Eight announces the neo:8a-- a flagship HDMI fixed format 8x10 HDBaseT matrix featuring added audio breakout functionality and eight HDBaseT 70m Class B PoH receiver.

Pulse neo:8aAs a successor to the neo:8 matrix, the neo:8a features the added benefit of a dedicated audio breakout from each HDMI source, making it a suitable solution for extended into audio distribution and amplifier products. With HDBaseT Class B support, it extends 4K video signals up to 40m and 1080p signals up to 70m.

CEC allows control of all devices from the original TV remote control, with own libCEC baking the technology into the system. As a result, the matrix routes video automatically, even if the source does not support CEC itself. Pulse-Eight also eliminates the need for a remote with 8 or 16 buttons through Contextual IR. This reduces the number of buttons to just 8, one for each possible input, allowing users to select the output number and watch the chosen source instant, whatever room they are in.

The neo:8a also allows access from any device and in any browser. With the neo Alexa skill enabled on an Amazon Echo or Dot voice control can be used to turn a TV on or off, or to switch source device. Pulse-Eight also remotely monitors the system to troubleshoot any system issues.
