The CYP 32x32 Modular Matrix

CYP uses ISE 2015 to show off its flagship chassis-- the super-sized 32x32 modular matrix, a 5U model building on the previous 3U 16x16 modular matrix chassis only with even more installation flexibility.

CYP matrixInstallers can fit it with any combination of up to 4 input modules and 4 output modules (each with 8 connections per board) for extreme flexibility and performance in any multi-zone AV environments. The company offers a range of input boards, including HDMI, VGA and DVI, while the output board selection includes HDbaseT (100m), HDbaseT (60m with PoC), HDMI and DVI.

To create the ideal matrix CYP offers a Modular Matrix Configuration tool, a piece of software allowing installers to create a matrix online before receiving a bill of parts for easy forwarding to CYP distributors.

Also on show at ISE 2015 are smaller matrices, such as the PU-8H8HBTPL-4K 8x8 HDbaseT Lite matrix with PoC. It supports 4K2K video transmission and multi-channel digital audio from x8 HDMI sources to x8 outputs over a single CAT5e/6/7 cable (up to 60m) for each output. For full 5-Play compatibility and LAN serving (as well as increasing transmission to 100m) CYP also offers the PU-8H8HBTE-4K.

Another ISE debut involves the PU-4H4HBTPL-4K KIT, a 4K2K 4x4 HDMI HDBaseT Lite matrix over CAT5e/6/7 supporting the transmission of video and multi-channel digital audio x4 HDMI sources to x4 HDBaseT outputs over a single CAT5e/6/7 cable (up to 60m) for each output. 5-Play compatibility and LAN serving is available in the PU-4H4HBTE-4K, increasing transmission distance up to 100m.
