Extron launches the HAE 100 4K-- an audio de-embedder able to extract audio from HDMI signals, including audio from 4K sources.
The HAE 100 4K features outputs for analog stereo or dual mono signals, as well as digital multi-channel or two-channel S/PDIF audio. It is HDCP-compliant, supports data rates up to 10.2Gbps and is 4K resolution video compatible.
Installer-friendly features include a buffered HDMI video output with EDID Minder for simplified EDID management between input source and display, input cable equalisation and comprehensive LED status display. Further simplifying installation are equalised HDMI signals up to 15m at 4K or 30m at 1080p/60 when used with Extron HDMI Pro cables.
Front panel LEDs provide real-time device status monitoring, including HDMI input, HDMI output and audio output signal presence, HDCP authentication and extracted audio format. The device comes inside a compact (2.5cm high, quarter rack width) metal enclosure allowing for simple and discrete mounting in a variety of environments.
