The Gefen ToolBox 4K UltraHD 8x8 Matrix (GTB-HD4k2k-848-BLK) is a small (around the size of an average hand) surface-mountable alternative to traditional rack-mounted matrix switchers.
The HDCP-compliant matrix routes eight 4K/UHD sources to any eight displays via HDMI, with signal resolutions including 4K DCI (4096x2160 @ 24Hz), 4K/UHD (3860x2160 @ 60Hz, 4:2:0 colour space), 1080p and WUXGA (1920x1200).
It also handles deep colour, 3D and multichannel digital audio support including 7.1 channel LPCM and HBR formats such as Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio.
Installers can route each source to any display location via front-panel push buttons, handheld IR remote control and RS232, while the Discovery and Sho-Me features within the Gefen Syner-G software simplify matrix internal IP configuration.
