Pyng App Gets Update

Crestron adds new features to the Pyng app-- including faster lights, shades and home automation deployment, as well as the set up and control of whole home audio distribution systems and TSW touchscreens via iPad.

Crestron PyngThe updated app makes it easy for installers to set up audio distribution to every room in the house, providing customers with wireless access (via AirPlay) to popular streaming services such as Spotify, Pandora and Rhapsody. In addition they can also play iTunes music and personal digital music libraries either wirelessly or through USB.

The Pyng app requires no advanced programming and pairs automatically with a range of Crestron multi-room audio solutions, including the C2N-AMP-6X100 (6 room +2 audio system), Sonnex multi-room audio system, CEN-NSP-1 Network stream player and Crestron Tuner Cards.

In addition the C2N-AMP-4X100 (4 room audio system with 6 inputs) and the Autonomic MMS 5A/2A streaming media server will get Pyng support in the near future.
