Clare Controls says the Cliq.mini is a compact and affordable cloud-based control system handling lighting, door and garage locks, thermostats, CCTV cameras and entertainment.
It receives power and connectivity via single wire, and has wireless connectivity via Z-wave and wifi, as well as wired via IP. Being a single wire solution it reduces installation time, lowers the chance of commissioning and maintenance errors and lessens time spent on troubleshooting and repairs.
Installers can also handle configuration and maintenance remotely, while the compact design and wireless connectivity provide mounting flexibility via standard telephone wall plate, closet installation or in racks and structured wire enclosures. The controller also allows for freestanding retrofit application by simply plugging it in and placing on any flat surface.
Clare Controls is releasing Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) support featuring auto-discover capabilities for Clare, Sonos and Sony products requiring no additional equipment or licensing fees. In addition the controller supports over 1000 traditional device drivers.
