Panasonic Products Get ULE Certification

The ULE Alliance announces 10 Panasonic smart home products have passed the certification programme for ULE (Ultra-Low Energy) devices, making them compatible with other devices bearing such certification.

Panasonic ULEPanasonic products in question include motion, flood and glass break detectors, as well as user interfaces. Tests were conducted at AT4 wireless, the ULE Alliance official testing and certification partner. Other ULE certified devices come from the likes of Vtech, Huawei and Crow.

The ULE Certification ensures the interoperability of devices across multiple vendors and enforces a high quality requirement for product operation to achieve a consistent user experience. The ULE wireless standard is deemed particularly secure while offering greater range than other similar standards.

“The growth strategy of Panasonic aims at enhancing our innovative product line up to a wide range of interoperable hardware, software and services. With the new Smart Home products in place we will contribute to the success of the very much promising IoT market”, Panasonic says. “The Smart Home products will give our customers peace of mind in daily life regardless if staying at home or being on the move. We will continue our efforts to provide our customers with new innovative Smart Home devices in future.”
