RTI launches a trio of control products at CEDIA Expo 2014-- the KX10 10-inch in-wall touchpanel, the ZW9 Z-Wave module interface and the XP9 control processor.
The KX10 is a widescreen touchpanel designed for use with both home entertainment and environmental system management. It handles WXGA resolution, and features HDMI and composite for (SD sources such as security cameras) video inputs. It also controls devices via IR or RS-232, and features 2-way control and feedback for use within an RTI ecosystem.
Meanwhile the ZW9 adds monitoring and control capabilities to Z-Wave-enabled systems and devices. It bridges between RTI systems and Z-Wave devices, replacing the need for separate control apps with unified control and monitoring via either RTI remote control or RTiPanel mobile device app.
The final RTI offering is the XP9, a control processor with HDMI output for on-screen display (OSD) capabilities. It also includes 9 routable IR ports, 8 two-way RS-232 ports, 8 sense ports and 8 relays, as well as ethernet connectivity for IP control, firmware updates and RTiPanel and Virtual Panel app support.
