Vanco launches the Compact 1 Zone 4 Source IR Kit (part no. 280751)-- a device designed for custom installers wanting a flexible IR control solution compatible with a variety of products.
According to Vanco (and as the name suggests) the kit handles the transmission of IR signals from up to 4 IR emitters to one IR receiver, with support for up to 8 sources when using dual-IR emitters.
The IR receiver operates on the 30-60kHz range, while the IR emitters transmit on the 38-56kHz range, allowing for signal range of up to 12m when using the 38kHz spectrum and 7m when using the 56kHz spectrum.
The kit works in most lighting environments, including CFL lighting. It is available now in a package including an IR receiver, 2 IR emitters and a 5V power supply.
