WyreStorm Intros Enado Mini

ISE 2015 sees the launch of the next generation of WyreStorm's Enado control solution-- the Enado Mini, a compact IP AV device control server promising all the power of its bigger sibling at a fraction of the size.

Enado MiniDescribed by the company as "the smallest thing you'll see at ISE," the Enado Mini is a miniature IP-only control system based on WyreStorm's NetworkHD Control. It runs the full Enado software suite and allows control of any device with ethernet connectivity by any device handling a web browser.

It sits anywhere on the network and controls IP devices via web server-based software, eliminating the need for apps, PC software, drivers or control device configuration. WyreStorm also promises easy addition of new control devices (such as smartphones or tablets) via QR code and link bookmark.

WyreStorm says the reduction in size is achieved via the elimination of IR, RS232 and relay/cc connectivity. However, installers can add such capabilities using the Global Cache iTach and Flex devices.

As a result it handles the NetworkHD JPEG2000 and new NetworkHD-PRO H.264 HD over IP systems, as well as any connected WyreStorm matrix switchers, AV Receivers, Blu-ray players, STBs (SkyHD, TiVo, Virgin, Humax), media players (AppleTV, Roku, Sky Now, XBMC and Kaleidescape), games consoles and a smart TVs, all over IP with no additional hardware required.

The Enado Mini will be available on an as yet unannounced date.
