Remote Technologies Inc (RTI) starts shipping the T3x wireless controller--a 2-way remote control complete with video intercom capabilities, haptic feedback touchscreen and grip sensors within a sleek design.
The T3x remote is customisable, with a 3.5-inch touchscreen UI and programmable "soft touch" hard buttons. It also features integrated grip sensors keeping the unit awake during use and an accelerometer providing instant-on response and control via movements.
Direct control comes through IR, together with the RTI dual-RF platform featuring 433MHz RF support and bi-directional communications with RTI processors and 3rd party component (including music servers, lighting, HVAC and security systems) control via 2.4GHz ZigBee.
Integrated 802.11b/g wifi also allows enhanced 2-way control with dynamic graphics, IP camera feeds and wireless updates.
