High-resolution wireless multi-room audio system maker Bluesound announces the RC1-- a remote control for use of Gen 2 and Gen 2i products from the company offering the most commonly used playback controls.
The RC1 provides users with track forward and backward, volume up and down and play/pause controls, as well as up to 10 custom presets. It is compatible with any Gen 2 or Gen 2i Bluesound player out of the box, as well as BluOS-enabled products from sister brand NAD Electronics, including the Maseters M50.2 Digital Music Player, Masters M10 BluOS Streaming Amplifier, C 658 BluOS Streaming DAC (coming soon), and a number of products from the Custom Install line.
BluOS-enabled products are those with BluOS built-in, while BluOS Ready products feature BluOS aded through the NAD Electronics future-proof Modular Design Concept (MDC).
The remote has x8 IR channels available, avoiding conflicting with other IR control devices in the home, and comes in a matte black finish with a polished aluminium cursor key. A pair of CR2032 coin cell batteries (included) power the device. It is available from December 2019.
