Elite Screens launches a new company selling multi-projector stacking for residential installations-- AirFlex5D, a 2D/3D projector stacking system combining x4 projectors into a single picture with amplified brightness.
The AirFlex5D system aligns images from multiple projectors vertically and horizontally. It handles image resolutions of up to 1920x1200 with dual-channel geometric image correction, de-interlacing, scaling and image enhancement.
The system remains operational even if one lamp goes down.
AirFlex5D claims system performance from four 3000 lumen projectors is comparable to that from pricey 1200 lumen projectors. It should be available from October 2012.
