Acer launches the H9505BD-- a single-chip DLP projector for home cinema applications featuring contrast of up to 10000:1 (via dynamic aperture), 6-segment colour wheel and ColorBoost II+ imaging technology.
It is Active Shuttle 3D-compatible, and customers can use it with 3DTV Play PC software. The lens features manual horizontal and vertical shift, while an Auto-ECO standby mode drops the projector to low-power mode when it finds no signal input for 5 minutes.
Acer claims the lamp lasts for up to 3000 hours in standard mode, 4000 in ECO mode and 5000 in ExtremeEco, with ColorSafe technology promising to "eliminate colour decay and guarantee picture integrity."
An optional MHL wireless adapter allows streaming of video, photos and sic from compatible mobile devices.
