JVC Home Cinema Projectors at IFA 2015

Kenwood-owned JVC announces three home cinema projectors just in time for IFA 2015-- the DLA-X9000, DLA-X7000, and DLA-X5000, all featuring e-shift4 upscaling technology and a 265W high power lamp.

JVC projectorAn updated D-ILA chip (the JVC take on LCD technology) promises what the company claims is "highest brightness in class" and "industry leading contrast ratio," with the flagship X9000 pushing 1900 lumens brightness at a native contrast ratio of 15000:1.

The projectors feature HDCP 2.2 compliant HDMI 2.0 inputs with support for HDR content, while e-shift4 boosts clarity through a "Mutiple Pixel Control" Super Resolution algorithm. As JVC puts it, through Auto Mode “natural and expressive 4K images can be enjoyed without any complicated picture adjustments.”

Motion blur reduction is also included via Motion Enhance.

The DLA-X9000, DLA-X7000 and DLA-X5000 hit the market from November 2015. JVC also offers 3D accessories as optional extras.
