Optoma Shows Off 4K HLD Projector at ISE

Optoma is set to show off its latest and greatest at ISE 2016-- including a first 4K HLD (High Lumen Density) projector claiming industry-leading colour accuracy and detail.

Optoma ISEHLD technology promises to boost the brightness and colour performance of a standard LED projector by 300%. The projector also features Philips and Texas Instruments technologies, and builds on the 1080p HLD projector shown off by Optoma back in June 2015.

"HLD technology will enable a new generation of far brighter LED DLP projectors with industry leading colour performance and accuracy," the company says. "Optoma is proud to be leading the way and introducing it to the home cinema market in 2016.”

The Optoma ISE 2016 stand will also show off other products, as divided within 5 zones (4K, HLD, corporate and education, ProScene solutions and home). Such offerings include a 4K UHD projector with a single-chip DLP design, a 24000 lumens ultra-bright dual-stack built using the flagship ProScene WU1500 installation projector and GB-200 image processor, a lamp-less, super-wide, ultra-short throw interactive projector with 2:6:1 aspect ratio and a 1080p ultra-short throw projector able to beam 100-inch images when placed just 30cm away from a wall.

However, the most exciting-looking things to be shown off by Optoma is an advanced full motion racing simulator. It comes complete with interactive monocoque visitors can sit in and an immersive curved display created using three Optoma LED ML750e projector, as well as a prizes for the top three fastest drivers on each day of the show.
