Optoma Unveils Projector Selection at CES

Optoma launches a few products at CES 2017-- including the Optoma 4K UST (Ultra Short Throw), the ZH55 laser projector, the UHD60 home cinema projector and the IntelliGo pico projector.

Optoma 4K USTThe Optoma 4K UST is a native 3840 x 2160 resolution laser projector with HDR10 wide colour gamut and an ultra short throw of just 0.18 for images up to 140-inch in size. The UHD60 is another 4K projector, with 3840 x 2160 resolution and vertical lens shift.

On the other hand the ZH55 is a 1080p number offering 3000 lumens brightness, 20000:1 contrast ratio, Rec. 709 colour and HDR wide colour gamut. Connectivity comes through dual HDMI ports with MHL, and the throw ratio is an installer-friendly 1.06 together with a 1.36x zoom. Another home cinema projector is the GT1080Darbee, a successor to the GT1080 offering 1080p resolution, Rec. 709 color, dual HDMI ports, 3000 lumens of brightness, and a 25,000:1 contrast ratio.

Also getting a refresh is the HD28DSE-- the HD29Darbee features 3000 lumens brightness, 30,000:1 contrast ratio, and DARBEE Visual Presence image enhancement technology, together with Rec.709 and sRGB colour modes for use with PC, Mac and HDTV broadcast content and colour spaces.

The final Optoma projector on offer is the IntelliGo, a pico projector armed with Android 4.4 OS, a customisable home screen and the AptoideTV app stor with access to streaming media services such as Netflix, Hulu, Amazon and Spotify. It is wifi and Bluetooth compatible, has USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports, and offers 2D to 3D content conversion.
