The Optoma Projector with Alexa Control

Optoma announces the UHD51A-- the first projector from the company with integrated Amazon Alexa, providing customers with voice control of projection, audio, screen, lighting and room settings.

Optoma AlexaAlexa capability comes via SmartProjection for Smart Home skill. It allows users to power the projector on and off, change volume and input source, and control the USB 4K UHD media player.

As for the projector itself, it offers 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) resolution images with 2400 lumens brightness, 500000:1 contrast ratio and HDR10 with Rec.20202/DCI-P3 wide colour gamut support. It also features a built-in 4K UHD HDR media player and Android OS, along with x2 HDMI 2.0 inputs with HDCP 2.2 and MHL 2.1 support.

Further features include 1.3x optical zoom, 1.21-1.59 throw ratio, x2 integrated 5W speakers, USB 2.0 service port, USB for Alexa wifi adapter, USB for media playback and USB for wireless screen mirroring.
