Epson announces a first portable laser projector-- the EF-100W/B, a projector the company says is designed for the ultimate in flexibility, measuring just 23cm along the longest edge.
The EF-100W/B features a laser light source in a compact chassis complete with vents and power inlet on the side, making a compact projector customers can place and project in any direction. Thus, it can be easily project images up to 150-inch on walls, ceilings or floors. The laser light source promises bright and vibrant images, even in daylight, while an auto picture adjustment feature takes care of distortion.
The laser light source lasts up to 20000 hours, while a user-friendly UI makes it easy to use. An HDMI port allows connection of phones, tablets, DVD players, game consoles or laptops, as well as streaming devices such as an Amazon Fire TV, Google Chromecast, Roku or Apple TV. Built-in speakers provide audio, and one can also add speakers through Bluetooth connectivity or 3.5mm jack.
