Screen Innovations (SI) announces an expansion of its range of low-voltage motorised screens. Originally developed for the CI channel back in 2017, the motor technology now belongs in the entire line of SI motorised screens.
According to the company, global standardisation has lead to installers around the world favouring motorised screens powered by "structured" cables. The SI low-voltage system improves the versatility of, and compatibility with, any top of low-voltage wire.
In addition, SI has expanded the maximum size of motorised screens for sizes up to 4.8m tall and 3m wide. The company has combined Slate XL-- developed from existing Black Diamond technology-- with the large motorised system to create what it calls “the number one motorized screen solution that consistently delivers repeatable, reliable results and provides a true solution for large environments with ambient light.”
To extend the push fro global standard, SI also adds the ZigBee 3.0 screen to the Solo line of ultra-compact screens. The ZigBee 3.0 wireless system is a complete ecosystem in itself, enabling secure multi-way communication over a mesh network.
