CEDIA releases the first white paper in a series on the incorporation of mobile devices in existing and new system designs-- Mobile Devices in Residential System Integration.
The association sees "an amazing rise" in the use of mobile devices as user interface. As a result, it is creating a series of white papers examining and recommending the best practices for mobile devices adoption as part of a converged IP-based home ecosystem.
The first white paper focuses on the need for an enterprise-grade wireless infrastructure strategy.
“Mobile device integration is a very real part of our industry’s future. It’s not going away,” CEDIA says. “Through these white papers, we hope to provide our members with guidance to navigate this emerging market opportunity.”
